Just spent two hours looking at expensive rugs at an upscale retailer.  Most of the stuff you see in a store like that can be made to size at any carpet or flooring store for a fraction of the cost.  The other benefit is the product choice, custom sizing and binding.  The extra time to cross check and compare can save you thousands of dollars!
